About Taylor

Taylor Dobes (They/She) is a graduate of North Central College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theatre, as well as Theatrical Design & Technology. They have previously worked as Costume designer for Ride The Cyclone, Renascence and Tiny Beautiful Things (North Central College), Assistant Lighting Designer for Love and Information (North Central College),  Stagemanager/Vice President of NCC’s Untitled, and StageHand for North Central’s Fine arts department (Wentz Concert Hall, Madden Theater, Meiley Swallow, and Pfeiffer Theatre)  

 

Acting Credits include: North Central College:  The Wolves (#7), Witch (Winnifred), and Tristan and Iseult (Frocin). Fox Valley Park District: Newsies (Mush), Tarzan the Musical (Turk) and Annie (Lily St. Regis). Stagecoach Productions: The Drowsy Chaperone (ensemble), Cabaret (ensemble).

 

In addition to Theatre, they also design Cosplays and character renderings, having past experience in making costumes for Renfair, Anime Midwest, and Animinniapolis, as well as creating character concepts for Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. Taylor is an aspiring costume designer and in the future looks forward to designing for more theatrical works.
